Even after relegation from the Kenyan Premier League, Bandari FC’s lethal striker Abdulwahab Musa will not be seeking an immediate return to the premier league as he will remain loyal to the club which shone the light in his way.
Top scorer
Musa was instrumental for his team last season, emerging the team’s top scorer with seven goals as he cemented his place as the main striker for the team. His exploits were however not enough to lift his club from the 15th place by the end of last term, as his team couldn’t rise above City Stars.
Speaking to futaa.com, the striker admitted he is very comfortable at the club and and wants to work hard with the team and win promotion back to the league and the only situation that could lure him out of Bandari is if and when a foreign club, with better terms came calling.
Loyal
-I will remain loyal to my team at the moment because it satisfies all my needs as a footballer, I also remain put with the hope that I can assist Bandari win promotion to the league again. Probably the only issue that can lure me away is if I get an interseted foreign club with good terms, he said.
This is not the first time Wahab is making such a strong commitment to Bandari as he also went down with the team when it was relegated in 2009 before resurfacing last season.
