Veteran striker in trouble, again

Tusker Premier League side Karuturi Sport has nothing much to smile about from their doctor’s report this week after their veteran striker Jacob Omondi suffered an injury setback in their last match.

This comes barely a month after the lethal forward resumed playing after a short-term injury that last him a week.

Rushed return

The club has however revealed that the player may have hastened his return and aggravated an injury on his right foot in their match against Muhoroni Youth over the weekend.

He will now have to undergo a full scan on his foot before determining for how long he will be sidelined from playing.

-Jacob will have to undergo a scan at the Kijabe Hospital since the knock appears more serious than we thought it would be.

The player was stretchered off in the dying minutes of the match against Muhoroni with Samuel Otieno taking up his place.

Karuturi however have some breathing space since their next match is still a week away.
