Working well together
The two have so far combined to score ten goals this season with Van Persie netting eight in all competitions; six of which are in the league.

(Welbeck) coming in from the left sometimes too. I might also go out there for
a few minutes in a game or Wazza (Rooney) does. I think it's only the second or
third time that we've played in this formation, but the main thing is we've had
a good game and got three points,
Rooney has so far scored twice in the league both of which came this past Saturday 20 October 2012 as Manchester United hit Stoke City 4-2 at the Old Trafford.
