Utawala FC had a perfect day against Yanga FC, handing them a 7-0 walloping in their Sunday 9 September Division One [Zone B] match.
Stephen Ochieng opened the scoresheet with his 10th minute strike, before doubling the lead four minutes later.
In the 23rd minute, Kenneth Mathiko made the scores 3-0 and then capped a brace in the 38th minute.
Ochieng complete his round for the day, sealing a hattrick with a 43rd minute goal.
By the time the teams were going into the half time break, Utawala were leading by a respectable 5-0 score.
However, they proved that they were still not done and marshaled Isaac Mambo and Paul Okoyo to complete the assault with their 63rd and 78th minutes goals.
After the match Utawala have moved from 16th to 14th in the Western Zone standings, while Yanga are placed second from bottom.
