Uproar in Division One as region is overlooked

Teams from Eastern Province are up in arms after their only representative in the Division One League, Kenya Meat Commission [KMC] was axed from the lineup.

According to the Upper Eastern Branch Secretary General Ken Rungu however, the region feels short changed for not being given a chance to get another of their own as a replacement.

Complaints

-We are not happy with the decision since there was already a team Kambakia Christian Centre [KCC] ready to take that slot.

-We have taken the matter with the national office and hope that the issue will be addressed as soon as possible.

KMC was replaced by Gatundu Stars from Central Province after they failed to make the necessary payments in time.
