Unmarked pitch causes cancellation of Division One match

According to Kefa Onditi, the Secretary General of Utawala, the match officials ordered Yanga to mark the field, before starting the match, a command which Yanga let pass.

-The referees were our witnesses, as they had arrived to find a marked pitch, but the rain cleared the white-wash, head coach Githaiga told Futaa.com .

The officials then walked away, without declaring the fate of the match.

Standings

Yanga are currently ranked 18th in the 20-team Zone, while Utawala check-in at 17th place.
