Unbeaten Rwanda not taken lightly by Williamson

CECAFA
Rwanda have been accorded the utmost respect by the Uganda Cranes, head coach Bobby Williamson has said.

The two rivals meet in the final of the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup on Saturday 10 December 2011 in Tanzania, the third time the two countries will face off in the show-piece event.

Uganda and Rwanda met at the same stage in 2003 and 2009; and the Cranes won both encounters. Rwanda has one title that they won the championship in 1999, their only victory in five final appearances.

However, their form on this year's event has been stellar and Williamson knows they cannot be taken lightly at all.

Most improved side

-They (Rwanda) are one of the most improved sides in the region. The fact that they are yet to lose a game since the tournament begun, explains it all.

-As for the game, considering the history between the two sides and the current form, I think it will be a good final, Williamson told the New Vision.

The match will be played at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam and will kick off at 1515 Hrs local time.
