Ulinzi trio back in training

Apul

2012 Tusker Premier League side, then KPL, Ulinzi Stars has received a major shot in the arm ahead of their weekend encounter against 2009 champions Sofapaka at home with the return of key players.

The military side has confirmed through its official site ulinzistarfc.com that Erick Apul, Wycliff Ochomo and Kevin Simiyu have all started training.

Sluggish attacks

The players are expected to be a big boost for the side that has showed signs of laxity in attacking with a few matches to go to the end of the current season.

-The biggest thing on my mind now is seeing the team get off the bad streak it has gone through with the last three matches, Simiyu told the site.

Ochomo has been nursing a hamstring injury for the last fortnight while Simiyu was down with malaria locking them out of the recent past outings.

Apul suffered a broken  toe but is now ready to make his contribution before the season ends.

Ulinzi is placed sixth on the standings.
