Ulinzi Stars striker Evans Amuoka was named the best player after his team’s 2 – 0 win over Oserian in the Tusker Premier League (TPL) game played at the Oserian Stadium on Sunday 23 September.

Won a Drifta

The forward scored a brace, one either side of half time as his team rose to fourth place on the 16-team log and for his effort he was awarded a DSTV Drifta.

In his post match comments he said he hopes to mount a serious challenge for the top scorer’s accolade.

The former Ulinzi skipper is currently on eleven goals, six adrift of leading scorer John Baraza of Sofapaka.
