Christopher Katongo scored as Zambia beat Uganda 1-0 in a 2013 AFCON qualifier match on Saturday 8 September 2012 at the Estadio Levy Mwanawasa in Ndola, Zambia.
Uganda Cranes skipper Andrew Mwesigwa says that the team played and only a slip up in concentration cost them the three points.
Concentration
-Everything was fine and the team played very well but our defense relaxed a bit and was caught off guard by Katongo, Mwesigwa told futaa.com.
-Our formation also did not work. Emmanuel Okwi was upfront alone and could not penetrate the Zambia defense. But we will rectify all these mistakes in the return leg. We have to qualify against all odds, he added.
Uganda will host Zambia in the return leg on Saturday 13 October 2012 at the Namboole Stadium in Kampala.
