The 2012/13 UEFA Champions League groups stage kick off in
the evening of this Tuesday 18 September 2012.
Face off
Lined up are eight games, two each from Groups ‘A’ to ‘D’ that will all kick off from 2145hrs
In Group ‘A’, Croatian side Dynamo Zagreb will face off with Portuguese side Porto at Maksimir Stadium in Zagreb as Paris Saint Germaine (PSG) hosts Dynamo Kyiv from Ukraine.
Squares it out
In Group ‘B’, French Ligue 1 side Montpellier will host English Premier League side Arsenal, a game to be played de la Mosson Stadium while Greek side Olympiakos Piraeus will be host to German Bundesliga side Schalke 04.
From the Guiseppe Meazza Stadium, AC Milan will take on Belgian Champions Anderlecht as Spanish side Malaga squares it out with Russian outfight Zenit Saint Petersburg in Group ‘C’ games.
Another eight
In one of the biggest clashes of the evening, Spanish Champions Real Madrid will entertain English moneybags Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in a Group ‘D’ game.
Out in Germany, from the Signal-Iduna-Park, reinging Buindesliga Champions Borussia Dortmund will be host to Dutch side Ajax.
The eight Tuesday games will usher in another eight games in Groups ‘D’ through to ‘G’ on Wednesday 19 September 2012 in what will complete rounds one.
