Tusker wary of Gor, AFC threat

As we head into the last three weeks of the Tusker Premier League, Tusker Coach Robert Matano is wary of the threat posed by their title rivals, Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards.

The defending champions face-off Gor Mahia in what is being billed as a title decider on Sunday (October 28), but according to Matano all the top three teams are in a pole position to clinch the title.

Tusker are still at the top of the table with 54 points, followed by Gor and AFC in second and third positions respectively-with only three points separating the three teams.

-All the top three teams are our greatest opponents. We are in a tough competition and we cannot underrate any team.

-Both of them [Gor and AFC] are still top contenders, and in case we slip-up they can take advantage, said Matano to futaa.com.

The Brewers are scheduled to clash with Gor, Western Stima and Nairobi City Stars before the end of the season.
