FC Talanta hosts reigning Kenyan Premier League champions Tusker FC in a Football Kenya Federation (FKF) President’s Cup quarterfinal match at the MISC Kasarani on Sunday 7 September 2012.
Performance
Tusker thrashed Keroka Tech FC 4-0 on Saturday 4 August and 13-0 against Wamo FC on Sunday 2 September while FC Talanta beat Tetu 2-0 on Sunday 12 August and won by the same margin again Division One Zone B side Nzoia United on Sunday 2 September 2012.
Tusker FC Team Manager Willis Waliaula says the team will be cautious against FC Talanta to avoid an upset.
-We’ve had good preparations and have no injury concerns ahead of the game. The President’s Cup is a title we wish to win and will therefore treat the match with seriousness, he told futaa.com.
-Talanta is a team with very good upcoming players and we cannot afford to underrate them. We will be very cautious and will field a full strength side, Waliaula added.

The match will kick off at 1500 hours.
