Tusker reap big from Mandela transfer

Reigning Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions Tusker FC will receive a huge amount of cash from South African second-tier side Cape Town Santos FC following the transfer of Kenyan International defender Brian Niang Mandela to the club.

Reliable sources have confirmed to futaa.com that the deal was worth 50,000 US Dollars(approximately 4.2 Kshs Million) from Santos.

Also to gain are Mandela’s former sides, Mbotela Kamaliza and Rangers FC, who  will each receive 5% of the amount as development fees in compliance to FIFA laws.

Mandela signed a three-year deal with the South African side recently after undergoing successful trials and Football Kenya Federation (FKF) issued his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) to the South African Football Association (SAFA) on Friday 31 August 2012.
