Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions Tusker FC has been one of the best represented teams in terms of number of players in the national team and the statistic is set to get even better.
Odette spotted
The team’s youthful defender Charles Odette has been noted as a possible inclusion to the Kenya U20 team which is currently in Egypt for the second round first leg African Youth Championship qualifier when the team returns.
The national side’s team manager Hillary Musundi confirmed to futaa.com that the defender will be called to the team when it goes to camp on Monday 30 July in preparation for the return tie with Egypt.
Defensive cover
-We will have Odette in camp when we return from Egypt as we will be looking to get more defensive cover for the return tie. This is not a guarantee that he will feature in the game due to the levels of competition but we have noted him as a player who can add good value to the team.
-If he impresses he will get the chance, Musundi told futaa.com.
The team manager also confirmed that the players who were dropped will rejoin the team when it returns from Egypt.
