Tusker advance to Mapinduzi Cup finals

Kenyan Premier League Champions Tusker FC handed  Miembeni FC, from Zanzibar, a 2-0 beating in their semi-final match played on Thursday 10 January, to progress to the finals of the tournament.

The winning goals were netted by Luke Ochieng and Jesse Were, in the 52^nd and 72^nd minutes, respectively.

Next stage

The win saw Tusker advance to the finals of the tournament where they are set to meet Azam FC, from mainland Tanzania.
