TPL soldiers to host Olympic

Nakuru based Tusker Premier League side Ulinzi Stars is set to play a friendly match against local side Nakuru Olympic on Thursday 13 September 2012 at the Afraha Stadium.

Speaking to the club’s official site ulinzistarsfc.com, the club’s head coach Sammy Simiyu said that he will use the match to gauge recovered players’ fitness ahead of their full return.

Simiyu will be aiming at sharpening his striking force after it appeared blunt in their recent matches while also boosting the morale of the players.

The 2012 champions are placed sixth on the standings eight points behind leaders AFC Leopards.
