Tough phase awaits C. Stars

John Amboko

Tusker Premier League side Nairobi City Stars is bracing itself for the toughest period this season as the last two matches will shape their destiny.

According to the Team Manager Laurence Njenga, the team is alive to the fact that just like last season, it will not be an easy battle for survival in the Tusker Premier League.

Tough test

-I am aware that the last two matches will be the toughest for us this season since our opponents are also targeting safety.

-We will however not relent in our quest and will keep fighting till we are safe at the end of the day, emphasized Njenga.

City Stars failed to level points with Karuturi over the weekend after settling for a barren draw at the Oserian Ground in the weekend double header.

They are currently placed 13th on the standings but risk dropping into the relegation zone if they lose their next match against Rangers FC.

The Kawangware based side will also face defending champions Tusker FC in their last match of the season
