Ugandan import Jimmy Bageya and youthful striker Emmanuel Tostao are the only absentees in the AFC Leopards training camp futaa.com can reveal.
Bagaye has not returned back into the country since the team broke for the X-mas festivities last season, while Tostao has been permitted by the management after he is grieved.
Abbas arrival
The squad was boosted with the arrival of Abbas Kiwaalabye yesterday [Wed 11 Jan] from Uganda as he participated in the 1200hrs training session on Thursday 12 January at the City Stadium.
According to Secretary General Duncan Angode, they are unaware of what’s happening with Bageya since he’s has not communicated with team.
- We're expecting Bageya to be in the country by Monday but up to date he’s not turned-up, Angode told futaa.com.

On contacting Assistant Coach Mickey Weche, the tactician was only aware of Tostao’s case but no information on Bageya’s absentia as the team enters its third day of pre-season training.
- Only two players have missed today’s training season, Bageya and Tostao. For Bageya I don’t know what’s happening, the only case I’m aware of is Tostao who lost his paternal uncle, explained Weche.
-The good news is that we welcomed back Abbas today who have missed two of our previous training sessions, concluded the tactician.
Apart from the two, all the other new signings including Abbas, Allan Wanga, Eric Masika, Simon Lusaka, Victor Ochieng and Amon Muchiri were in in the training session today.
