Tononoka and Kilifi battle through to finals

Tononoka High School edged out a stubborn Redeemed Academy 1-0 in a hotly contested semi-final match of the on-going Coast Provincial Secondary School Games, at Shimo La Tewa High School Grounds.

Juma Kipembe scored the lone goal of the match to propel the defending champions to the final.

Goals galore 

The national finalists will now meet Mwavumbo Secondary in the final after they walloped Faza Secondary School 3-0 in the other semis.

In the girls’ category, St. John went on a conquering rampage and advanced into the finals after beating Msambweni Girls 10-0 in a one sided-match as Kilifi Mixed humbled Likoni Girls 2-0.

The finals will be held on Saturday 21 July at Shimo La Tewa High.
