Togo who denied Kenya a chance to make it to the second and final round of qualifiers in the 2013 qualifiers crossed the final hurdle to join a growing list of Nations for South Africa 2013.
Adebayor
The Hawks saw off Gabon 2-1 in a tie played at the de de Kégué Stadium on Sunday 14 October 2012.
Wome opened the scores for the hosts on 36 minutes before Totenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor added a second on 57 minutes.
Gabon got one 80 minutes through former Hull city striker Daniel Cousin but it was not enough as Togo qualified with a 3-2 aggregate.
Second half goals
During the first leg played on 8 September 2012, Togo picked up a 1-1 draw.
In another Sunday game, Niger scored two second half goals to overhaul a 1-0 first leg deficit over Guinea to proceed to the African diadem to be held in South Africa from 9 January 2012.
2-1 aggregate
Goals from Mohamed Francisco Chikoto on 74 minutes and Issoufou Boubacar Garba on 85 minutes handed Niger a 2-0 reverse tie win. The team proceeds with a 2-1 aggregate.
Both ties were played from 1800hrs local time.
Togo and Niger now joins the qualified Cape Verde, Ethiopia, Ghana, Mali, Nigeria, defending Champions Zambia
