Timbe misses out on Genk’s conquest

Ayub Timbe was left out of the KRC Genk squad that thrashed their weekend counterparts Beerschot AC 3-0 at their Cristal Arena on Saturday 20^th October 2012.

The Belgium Pro League side was on fire as they humiliated Victor Wanyama’s former side and cement a place among the top teams in the league.

Genk scored their first two goals in the first half through Jelle Vossen and Joseph Monrose in the 26^th and the 31^st minutes respectively before Glynor Plet sealed the three points in the 70^th minute.

This win ensured that Gen moved into the third slot on the first tier league with 21 points one behind joint leaders Clun Brugge and Anderlecht.
