Timbe misses out on Genk party

Ayub Timbe Masika has been left out of Racing Genk's travelling party to face off with Swiss side Basel in the UEFA Europa league on Thursday 4 October 2012.

The Kenyan striker has been in and out of the Genk squad this season, not being able to cement a regular place in head coach Mario Been's squad.

This time out, he has been completely left out of the squad that is in Switzerland for the match which kicks off at 2000 hrs local time.

Thrashing

Genk's last Europa League clash was a victorious one, as the saw off Hungarian side Videoton 3-0 at home and thus anything in the way of a positive result will be highly appreciated.

20 players made the trip to Basel. Masika has been called up to national team Harambee Stars cquad for a friendly match against South Africa in ten days time.
