The sacking trend among teams in the Kenyan top flight, the Tusker Premier League (TPL) continues, with Thika United the latest to dismiss players.
According to the club’s official website, the club has parted ways with Liberian born defender Morris Dukuly and Geoffrey Muhando, a midfielder.
Already cleared
The team was not in action over the weekend since it did not register for the President’s Cup and as players resume training on Tuesday 9 October for the Sunday 21 October game against Western Stima, the two are said to have already cleared with the club.
-Midfielder Geoffrey Muhando and Liberian import left-back Morris Dukuly have already signed off their releases and won’t be in training this afternoon as Thika Utd resumes training in preparation for the next match at home against Western Stima on 21st October, the site read.
The duo’s dismissal comes a few weeks after Sofapaka sacked four players for what was termed below par performance and indiscipline.
