Thika United gave a way an early lead against Ulinzi Stars come out with a 1-1 draw in a Tusker Premier League game played at the Afraha Stadium on Sunday 28 October 2012.

An early second minute goal for Thika United by Kepha Aswani was cancelled out by a converted penalty taken by Mulinge Munandi on 20 minutes.

The scores remained at 1-1 at the break and it rolled on to full time as both sides failed to get any further goals in the second half.

Both sides now have 44 points from 28 rounds of play. Ulinzi Stars retains fourth spot and Thika remains fifth and only behind on goal difference.
