Tusker Premier League [TPL] side Thika United walloped Kanjeru FC and Motown FC in Friday’s [January 18] build-up matches, at Thika Stadium.
In the first match, the Milk-men drubbed Kanjeru 3-1 before humiliating Motown 8-0.
Big win
John Nairuka, Kennedy Otieno and Njung’e scored against the Kiambu based side while a brace from second half substitute Kepha Aswani propelled the hosts to an emphatic 8-0 victory over Matown.
The other goals were scored by new acquisition Ezekiel Odera, Freeman Mulbah, Clifton Miheso, Francis Kahata, Francis Chege and Dirkir Glay.
Nyeri tour
Thika are expected to continue with their preseason preparations with a trip to Nyeri County on Sunday 20 January where they will play against Tetu FC and Nyeri Stima respectively at the Ruring’u Stadium.
