Thika coach dissatisfied with result

Thika United and Western Stima played to a barren draw in a Tusker Premier League match played at the Thika Municipal Stadium on Sunday 21 October 2012.

Result

Speaking after the match, Thika United Head Coach John Kamau expressed his displeasure with the result saying he expected to win the match.

-I’m not happy with the result.  We would have won this match but I must commend their goalkeeper, he was very outstanding and kept them in the game, Kamau said.

-I will keep encouraging the young boys and we will hopefully bounce back in the next match, he added.

Games

After the results, Thika is sixth with 43 points while Western Stima is seventh with 37 points, both having played 27 matches. The former will play 2010 champions Ulinzi Stars on Saturday 27 October 2012 while the latter will host bottom side Rangers FC on Sunday 28 October 2012 in their next matches.
