Bandari took a huge step towards promotion to the Tusker Premier League with a 1-0 win over the Kariobangi Sharks in an FKF Division one Zone A clash played Sunday morning, 30 September 2012 at the City Stadium in Nairobi.

Dockers captain Raphael Okello was the man of the day, as he connected with the ball off a corner kick in added time to secure the three points for the dockers.

Bandari had to play the last 20 minutes of the game with ten men as Eric Okoth was given his marching orders.

Tough match

It was a tough match as both sides knew the value of a win, with chances at a premium and both teams tactically astute.

Okello though, popped up on 94 minutes to collect the three points for the visitors, a bonus for the dockers, at a time when a draw looked like a favourable result.

Bandari now have a 13 point lead over Bidco United, though the Thika side has three games in hand. The top two sides meet in Mombasa next weekend in what could be the title decider.
