The ongoing nationwide teachers strike is likely to affect Mombasa Polytechnic Football Club that is currently participating in the South Coast Provincial League.
Back home
Speaking at the team’s training field, team coach Joseph Sihulu alias Yeboa expressed concern that if the strike continues in the next few weeks the institution might send students home thereby disrupting the teams participation in the league.
-Students are currently idle because of the strike. If the stalemate continues the principal might be forced to order the institution closed and send students back home hence we shall have no players, disclosed Yeboa.
