Talent hub to hold trials

Fisa
Nairobi Provincial League side FISA FC is set to hold five-day trials to select players join the team ahead of the new season.

According to the club’s Head Coach, Charles Korea Omondi, fifteen successful players will be selected during the trials that are set to begin on Monday 15 October and end on Friday 19 October 2012.

-Our team is restructuring and we are therefore looking for 15 new players. I urge players to turn in large numbers to try their luck, Omondi told futaa.com.

Age

Omondi also said that only players 20 years and below will be given a chance to prove their worth.

-It’s a team policy to only have players who are below the age of 20 and this will also apply in the trials, he added.

FISA has cut a niche for itself as being a leading feeder to top-tier clubs. Gor Mahia’s duo of Musa Mohammed and Kevin Omondi, Nairobi City Stars Ibrahim Kitawi and Victor Ashinga and AFC Leopards SC winger Paul Were are some of the players on-loan from the talent hub.
