Sunderland, Kihoto to meet in weekend friendly

Newly-promoted Central Rift County League side Sunderland AFC Keroche will on Sunday 23 December welcome Kihoto FC in an exhibition match to be played at the refurbished Karai Primary School grounds (nicknamed the Stadium of Light).

In the 2012 season, the two teams were playing together in the Naivasha/Gilgil District league, from which Sunderland were promoted having emerged third amongst the 10 participating teams.

Motive

Sunderland will be using the match to maintain their form ahead of a senior-league showing, while Kihoto will be gearing up for a new season in the same league.

Time

The match will kick off at 1500hrs.
