Strathmore, the team ranked third to last in the 2011 Football Kenya Limited [FKL]-run Nationwide Division One league are yet to be informed of the level at which they will be competing in the 2012 season.

This is after a new arrangement that features teams from both the FKL and the Kenya Football Federation [KFF]-run Nationwide Division one was established going into the 2011 season.
-We hear we were relegated, but we have no communication to that effect, Strathmore head coach, Mickey Weche told Futaa.com.
-We will wait to be told where to play, and wherever it is, Strathmore will prepare and play.
Nationwide Division One
The second tier league now branded as FKF Division One will have two zones each with 16 teams; one to cater for teams East of Nairobi and the other to host teams from the West of the capital, as listed below:
Eastern Zone: Ligi Ndogo SC, Kariobangi Sharks, KSL Thola Glass, Iron Strikers, KMC, Mahakama, Nairobi Stima, KRA, Administration Police, Magongo Rangers, Admiral, Bidco United, Green Berets, Coast United, Bandari, Congo United [Mombasa City FC].
Western Zone: Nakuru AllStars, Gusii (Shabana), Agro Chemicals, Milimani, Karungu FC, Finlays Horticulture, Utawala FC, Rush FC, Kakamega Homeboyz, West Kenya Sugar [Kabrass United], Victoria FC, Outgrowers, FC 105, Zoo Kericho, Timsales, Longonot Horticulture.
