Stima suffer injury blow ahead of Ingwe clash

Western Stima

Kakamega based Tusker Premier League (TPL) side Western Stima will have to negotiate a way past league leaders AFC Leopards in the two sides’ encounter at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru on Saturday 15 September without the services of one of their key players.

Oluoch out

The team’s defender Kevin Oluoch had to remain in Kakamega when the team left on Friday 14 September morning after failing to recover from a knee knock though coach Henry Omino said he will find a good replacement.

Speaking to futaa.com, Omino admitted that even in the player’s absence, he is looking forward to a win in the game.

Looking forward

-Oluoch failed to recover in good time. My idea was that he is taken through a late fitness test because he was really looking forward to this encounter but he couldn’t make it to training so I decided to omit him.

-He will definitely be missed but there is nothing much we can do, I will find a good replacement from within and hopefully get a win in the game, he said.

The match will kick off at 1500hrs.
