Kakamega based side Western Stima has a major blow up its sleeve after it emerged that two of the team’s players will play no part in the match against Oserian in Naivasha on Saturday 11 August at the Oserian Stadium.
Massive blow
Goalkeeper Ben Roberts Mandela who has been away on academic leave for the last five matches and Fred Nyarombo have been ruled out with illness in what coach Henry Omino described as a massive blow but assured of ready replacements.
-We will have to do without Mandela who developed allergic reactions on his return from college and Nyarombo who is still weak after a bout of malaria. I can confirm that they will not feature against Oserian which is a big blow for us but we will just cope.
Replacements
-There are many players here and good replacements so there’s no need for much worry, he told futaa.com.
In Mandela’s absence, it is highly likely that last season’s second runners up most disciplined player David Juma will continue in goal with Patrick Agwanda as his understudy.
The match will kick off at 1500hrs and will be live on Supersport.
