Kakamega based Kenyan Premier League (KPL) side Western Stima coach Mr. Henry Omino has expressed his joy at having his former striker Francis Chinjili back after a year out with KPL giants AFC Leopards.
The coach, speaking to futaa.com, said the striker has been training well with his teammates at Bukhungu and is almost hitting top form. He even hinted at using him in the team’s next match in Nairobi against Nairobi City Stars.
-Of course I am very happy to have Chinjili back; this is where he always belonged and on his return he didn’t have a problem fitting into the team with the others, he has been training well and is almost there.
-His former team didn’t know how to use him; I am sure people are going to see a different striker in him come Sunday, he said.
Omino will also have striker Job Omuse who missed a big part of the first leg with injury, a situation he says adds to the Westerners advantage.
-Chinjili’s presence and Omuse’s timely return after the long layoff is also a big advantage to us I am sure of their prowess and I am convinced they will drive us higher in the standings in the second leg, he added.
