Stima aim for strong finish

Nairobi Stima hope that a strong finish to the season will set them up for an even better one next term.

The FKF Division one outfit finished in the high echelons of the standings in last year's Nationwide division, but have struggled to maintain the same form this season.

They are currently eighth in Zone A and are not in contention for promotion to the Tusker Premier League, but despite missing out on top honours, head coach Barrack Ouma hopes they can make a statement by winning all their remaining seven games.

High as possible

- We have had too many changes this year; we had changes in the technical bench and then lost ten players in the transfer window and replaced them with ten others.

- That many changes will mean that things will not move too well, but we have tried to steady the ship and are now in a fairly good position.

- Moving on, I hope that we can finish the season well by winning our remaining seven games and atleast ensuring that we carry good form going into the new season, he told Futaa.com.

No travel

Their final seven games are within the Nairobi region, with the trip to Thika to face Bidco United, the furthest from the capital city.
