After 2009 Kenyan Premier League [now Tusker Premier League] Champions Sofapaka released head Coach Salim Ali over a string of unimpressive performances, the club’s President Elly Kalekwa promised that they would bring in an English Coach to take over.
It has now been confirmed that the said English man is Stewart John Hall, former head Coach at Tanzanian Premier League side Azam FC.
Confirming Hall’s appointment, Kalekwa said that he had been selected from a list of ten applicants, and that his qualification and experience won him the favour.
-Hall has a proven track record and with his kind of experience we are sure he will help us get back to our winning ways, Kalekwa told Futaa.com.
Hall left Azam on July 31 2012, on what the club described as a mutual agreement.
Arrival
The tactician, who was also recommended to the club by player/coach agent Ed Stoner, is set to jet on Tuesday 11 September.
