The Kenya national team Harambee Stars is scheduled to play Libya in an international friendly on the FIFA International day on Wednesday 14 November 2012 according to the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) liaison officer in charge of Harambee Stars, Dinah Kerubo.
The federation official also confirmed to futaa.com that the friendly match with the North Africans will be staged in Tripoli though a confirmation is still pending from the Libyans and over which of the U23 or the senior team will be sent over.

-We have lined up a series of friendly matches for the national team and the first could be against Libya in Tripoli and not Angola as we had earlier requested, we are however, still waiting for their confirmation on the same.
- The logistics over which team will be travelling between the U23 and the senior team are also being worked on, she said.
Harambee Stars’ last friendly match was against Bafana Bafana of South Africa. Kenya lost 1 – 2 in the encounter at the Nyayo National Stadium on Tuesday 16 October.
