Stars face defensive headache

Museve

Kawangware based Tusker Premier League (TPL) side Nairobi City Stars will be without Athur Museve in their next league game when they travel to Naivasha to face off with Karuturi Sport.

Recover in time

The defender has accumulated five yellow cards and is thus suspended for the game and with captain John Amboko carrying a niggling knee injury, coach Wadda Bye can only hope his captain recovers in time.

The coach, speaking to futaa.com shared his concern at Museve’s absence but sounded confident of getting a befitting replacement.

Enough cover

-Defensively we might have a few problems if John (Amboko) doesn’t recover because Museve has five yellow cards and is thus suspended. We will be a bit thin in that area in terms of experience but we have enough cover, he said.

A win in the game for relegation threatened City Stars will most definitely guarantee survival.
