After close to a month out due to injury, Nairobi City Stars defender Francis Jakambare Akang’o is set to start training with the Kawangware-based side next week.

Confirming the news to futaa.com, the former Tusker defender said he was excited, looking forward to resuming training and promised to work hard.
-I’m very happy. This is like a new beginning to me. I want to work hard and regain my form, Akang’o told futaa.com.
-I almost finishing my dosage and feel no pain in both legs. I will start training next week and hope to stay injury free, he added.
Fractures
A scan at the Aga Khan Hospital last month had revealed that the 2009 Kenyan Premier League second-best defender's right and left shins had fractures.
