Stars-Bafana collections to be known on Monday

The amounts realised from the friendly match on Tuesday 16 October pitting Kenya’s Harambee Stars and Bafana Bafana of South Africa will be released officially by the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) on Monday 22 October.

Yet to get back

According to the federation chairman Mr. Sam Nyamweya, the firm appointed to handle the production of tickets and sales is yet to get back to the federation with the figures thus causing the delay.

He, however, promised to make the figures public on Monday.

-We gave someone the role of handling the ticketing and all other issues concerned and he is yet to get back to us with the figures after the friendly match. However, by Monday we will have the full report and we will make it public, he told futaa.com.

Security firm BM was the contracted ticket handlers for the match. The tickets for the main stand retailed at 1000 shillings while those for the terraces went for 300 shillings.
