Tanzania Vodacom Premier League defending champions Simba SC will be away in Tanga over the weekend to face hosts Coastal Union in their seventh league match this season.
The team however traveled without key players among them Emmanuel Okwi, Mrisho Ngasa and Ramadhan Chombo for the match.
Valid reason
According to ippmedia.com, the trio were omitted from the traveling party as the team departed on Wednesday 10th October 2012.
The club’s information officer Ezekiel Kwamwaga however confirmed to the site that the three had been left due to valid reasons.
Ugandan international Emmanuel Okwi is said to be with his national team while Mrisho Ngasa and Ramadhan Chombo are down with Malaria.
Simba will square it out with Coastal Union where Kenya’s International midfielder and former Simba player Jerry Santo plies his trade on Saturday 13th October 2012.
