A spectacular free kick outside the box by Nassib Mwagololi eleven minutes to time was enough to lift SS Assad to victory over rivals West Ham in a tough South Coast Provincial Zone A match played at Mzimuni on Sunday 23 September 2012.

Occupy second 

The match lived to its billing as a cracker with West Ham displaying a staccato of champagne football but poor finishing was their main undoing.

SS Assad have now leapfrogged West Ham to occupy the second position on the log with 34 points from 16 matches, three points ahead of West Ham who have a match in hand.

Shanzu United lead the log with 36 points from 17 matches.
