The Kenyan Team to the 2012 Special Olympics tournament jetted into Johannesburg on Wednesday 1300Hrs ahead of their tournament set to kick off later in the day.

The team which has been camping at the University Of Nairobi for the last three weeks will then proceed to the Phokeng, Royal Bafokeng Nation where the tournament will take place after clearance at the Airport.
Veteran youth coach Vince Ombiji is in charge of the team that is hoping to give their best and emerge winners in the ten aside tournament.
The playing unit comprises of six intellectually challenged players[Athletes] and four partners to make a team of ten players on the pitch for each side.
Teams that qualify in the top three will take part in the Special Olympics Unity Cup in Brazil next year [2013].
