Special Olympics Team sets friendly

The National Special Olympics team is set to play a friendly match against University Of Nairobi on Friday 28 September 2012 at the UoN grounds.

The match will be to gauge the preparedness of the team to face opposition as they prepare for the Special Olympics three days event in South Africa.

Coach Vince Ombiji believes that this friendly will give them a bit of pressure as they are expected to face tough opposition against other great teams in the tourney.

-The friendly is meant to instill some resilience within the squad since this is a serious tournament that we are planning to win.

The team will leave the country next week for the event.
