The celebrations were cut short two minutes later when John Baraza leveled the scores for Sparki after receiving a pass from Kenya U20 player Michael Izungu.
Baraza was on mark again eight minutes after connecting to an Ali Mwajuma crosss to complete his brace and to make the score 2-1 at breather.

After resumption of the second stanza, Sparki Youth piled pressure and their efforts paid dividends in the 75th minute through Dennis Mocky Matata. Rama Izungu, sibling to Michael wrapped the match with a strike in the injury time when the made full use of Mwajuma’s corner.
Following the win, Sparki Youth remain in 11th position on the log with 33 points from 28 matches.
Forfeited
Coast United remains in 16th position in the 20-team log with 24 points from 23 matches.
During the first leg tie that was scheduled for Tudor Day playground, both Sparki Youth and Coast United failed to show up and forfeited three points each following a controversial decision made by the FKF leagues and Competitions Committee.
