Striker Gideon Ndambuki scored a hat-trick to enable Changamwe's Soccer aristocrats fly over Veczular in a dramatic South Coast Provincial league match, played on Sunday 8 July, at the Changamwe Estate playfield.

In the match, Veczula were first to score, with Sali Bakari finding the back of the net at the half-hour mark, but the Eagles cancelled the deficit seven minutes later through Ndutu Ndambuki.
The Super Eagles doubled the lead through Ndambuki in the 54th minute, with Veczular’s Juma Bakari leveling the scores in the 62nd minute.
However, Ndambuki stretched the lead, scoring the third goal in the 74th minute, before Harrison Kuria rubbed salt into the visitors wounds nine minutes to time.

Following the results Super Eagles have leapfrogged SS Assad to moved up to fourth position on the log with 12 matches and 24 points, on level with Assad but with a superior goal difference.
Shanzu lead the zone A log with 15 matches and 34 points, eight more than second placed Hippo Youngsters.
