All leagues running in South Coast must come to close at the
conclusion of November 2012. On the league front, the season for 2013 will kick
off in February.
Searching for sponsors
Those were two of the agreements reached in a Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Lamu on Saturday 20 October 2012 as attended by all Coast Branches.
According to Coast NEC member Hussein Terry that was one of the resolutions passed
-We had a successful meeting and other than the conclusion of leagues, we agreed that the Marketing & Finance Committee needs to be given more time in searching for sponsors for our leagues
Mini league
-Once a sponsor is found, we want all registration fees being paid by clubs waived,
-We also agreed that protocol needs to be observed at all times with the channel being the sub branch, the branch, the NEC then finally the National office
Terry also confirmed that four teams from Coast will enter a mini league to produce the best two that will go for a pre Division One mini league
Taita Taveta
-We agreed that two teams each from South Coast and North Coast will enter a mini league and the best two will proceed to the Division One mini league
The AGM came soon after the conclusion and award of Certificates to close to 100 persons who attended a week long Coaching and refereeing Course held in Lamu for persons from the area and the surrounding Islands.
The next AGM will be held in Taita Taveta
