Sori edge out Div One side to make finals of regional tourney

Nyanza Provincial League side Sori United, handed Division One side Karungu a 3-1 defeat in the preliminaries of the Nyatike Constituency CDF tournament, played on Thursday 13 September.

Sori’s goals were netted by George Otieno, who scored a brace, Justin Ochuodho, while Karungu’s consolation was picked by Jack Mbija.

After the win, Sori now progress to finals of the event to be held on Sunday 16 at Luanda K’Onyango.

Finals

There will be four teams in the finals, the winners of each of the four zones that make Nyatike Constituency-Karungu, Luanda K’Onyango, Miuru and Kaler.

Sori will be representing Karungu Division.
