SoNy informed FKF of trip

SoNy

Tusker Premier League (TPL) side SoNy Sugar is one of the local clubs in danger of sanctions from the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) following the team’s recent trip to Tanzania where they played a friendly match with Simba SC.

Informed in good time

However, the club’s chairman Mr. Chris Odero says the Awendo based side informed the federation in good time of their invitation and subsequent trip though they never got a reply to their communiqué.

-We followed the right procedure when we went for the friendly. Our duty was to inform the federation and we did that; we wrote them an email notifying them of the invitation and our decision to honour it.

Never replied

-They, however, never replied to our communication and we are yet to hear from them over the said disciplinary measures, he told futaa.com.

FKF Division One zone A side Bandari FC has already been handed a heavy fine for honouring an invitation to the neighbouring country.
